Hey guys! the pirate hunter is here to wreak havoc! I basically plan on having this France take on an antagonist role, so if you ever need a bad guy for anything, I hope I can fill those shoes for youuuuu~

It doesn't have to be a showdown, exactly. They can just have an encounter. I already started an open RP a few months ago that no one's replied to yet (A Pirate's Life). You're welcome to meet Toni there!

Lili is not a pirate so I don't know if we'll have any meaningful interaction, but I know you NEED to get into a scuffle with Arthur at some point. I am fairly certain the heavens WILL strike you both down if you don't, even if there isn't any deities.

Wouldn't Francis need to shave his glorious beard to crossdress though?!

That doesn't sound like a bad idea, especially since Lili's family was killed by pirates, so she's not exactly fond of them. She might not approve of his methods, but maybe she won't have to find out about them~?

I planned the Francis with the specific intent of helping potential plans for the AU. So pirate battles will happen, I just need someone to pointedly point me the way. *looks at Arthur and Antonio*

@Yao and Kiku, are you guys merchants or pirates though? Or are you merchant pirates....? Just wondering.

(We're pirates...though we prefer to call it high risk trading XD)

Okay, so the question would Francis recognize them as such? Does the white lotus pretend to be a merchant ship, is it possible that they would have fake documentation that would convince Francis to escort them? :3

To the best of my understanding (as in, Yao the captain can clarify better what we are, since Kiku is at present still learning XD)...we are pirates. However, the ship they are on is a Chinese junk ship, which was usually associated with merchants. Likely, Yao and Kiku would pose well as merchants (since they don't necessarily act like, say, Arthur's pirates), but if they were at any point and time on the Wanted/Bounty list, Francis would be able to recognize them as pirates.

Kiku at least, when he's gone to the Port, has worn rather simple clothes, though he's not exactly dressed like a noble. He also knows his way around the streets, which might make Francis somewhat suspicious of him or his background, perhaps?
